JENNY WREN hand cut coin jewellery, pagan necklace, recycled vintage farthing
Hand carved from a bronze UK farthing in our workshop in Aude, France, featuring the iconic Jenny Wren. The Jenny Wren appeared on the reverse of the UK farthing from 1937 to 1955, the coin being worth a quarter of a penny.
The wren is an active little bird, it's Celtic meanings include activity, vibrancy, alertness and efficiency. The wren is rarely seen resting on her laurels. The Celts honoured that fastidiousness, and took the lesson of making progress each day to heart in their own lives.
